Dina was absolutely amazing—one of the most attentive and friendly servers I’ve ever had. This is exactly the kind of service I appreciate when dining out. Unfortunately, I’ve had plenty of experiences at other restaurants where the service felt rushed or indifferent, but not here. Dina truly made our meal a pleasure from start to finish. As for the food—just wow. Everything was fantastic. The Gorgonzola, the coleslaw, and pretty much everything on the menu was delicious. They really know how to make a great burger, and that jalapeno sauce? Easily the best sauce I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely miss this place, but I hope to come back to Taos someday just to enjoy another meal here.

The patty is juicy and flavorful - not thin but not overly thick. I got the green chile cheeseburger per my brother’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. But now I want to try them all. The fries are great but the sweet potato fries with that maple sauce stole my heart. Greatness all around. If you love burgers like I do then get yourself over to Five Star.
Grabbed lunch at 5 Star Burgers while in Taos on business and had a great burger. Service was prompt and food came quickly, other than our drinks, which they forgot until after our food came and we asked about them. Legit burgers - tried the bacon and bleu cheese and it was good! I'd recommend a stop if you're in Taos!
Friendly employees, lots of smiles. Our takeout order was ready on time and was ...perfect! Lots of condiments and napkins (you'll need those!) and our burgers were grilled superbly. We all had ordered onion rings - and again, done perfectly, which at other restaurants is not always the case. 5 Star Burgers deserves those 5 stars. Keep doing what you're doing! If you're in Taos, stop here, you will not regret it. YUM
Our first day here and we're looking for a good place to eat. A review led us to this place. You must get the sweet potato fries and maple cream dip. I'm still drooling over it! This place did not disappoint!!
We ate on the patio with our doggies. They are very accommodating for them, even bringing them their own water and a bowl. Several staff came out to give them pets. We both got burgers, and they were incredible. I got the Taos burger. Absolutely delicious. This is not a first date burger. You almost need a shower afterward. The fried green chile slice was awesome. My wife got the 5star burger and loved it. We got the fried green beans and French fries. The green chile mayo was very tasty. Lastly our server, Charlotte, was awesome. She answered our questions about Taos. Gave us information about how the burgers are made and how the chiles are acquired. Very helpful and nice. If your coming through Taos, this is a must see stop
Stopped in for lunch the previous day and had one of the best burgers EVER. Came back for breakfast this morning and had the Taos Burrito. So tasty! Good mix of traditional and New Mexican breakfast options. Thank you Yvonne for your wonderful service.
Came for a late lunch and this restaurant did not disappoint. It looked very nice inside and the staff was very caring. I got the bison burger with green chilies and pepper jack cheese. I appreciated that they had coffee as it was a really cold afternoon, and the creamer came in a little serving pitcher, which was a nice touch. I did get the large basket of fries. It was a straightforward, delicious burger for a reasonable price.
